I was reading about the Tania Vanessa Lopez case, and it got me thinking about how public spaces we consider safe can suddenly become crime scenes. It's haunting to imagine something like that happening in a place where people go to unwind and have fun. 30 shots fired in what's usually a peaceful spot is terrifying. I can't stop thinking about her family and what they must be going through. It's been years with no answers, and I can only imagine how incredibly difficult it must be to move forward without knowing why this happened or who was responsible. With so many witnesses, I keep wondering how no one has come forward with enough information to catch whoever did this. Maybe someone knows something and doesn't even realize it's important. If you're reading this and were anywhere near the marina that night, please think back to anything you might have seen or heard. Tania's loved ones deserve justice, and solving this might also prevent others from falling victim to such senseless violence.
