It's chilling to hear about what happened in the early hours of April 26, 2016. I keep thinking about the scene on Hil Mar Drive and how terrifying it must have been for everyone involved. Joanne Woods was just standing there, presumably among friends or neighbors, when the unimaginable happened. It's hard to comprehend why someone felt the need to turn to such senseless violence. I can't even begin to imagine the pain her family and friends are going through right now. The period after losing someone is difficult enough, but to not have any closure or justice on top of that... it's a burden no one should have to bear. And those other four individuals who were injured—it's a miracle they survived, but their lives will likely never be the same. These sorts of crimes have ripple effects, leaving long-lasting scars on the community as a whole. I really hope that with the reward, someone will come forward with the information police need to catch whoever's responsible. If anyone here knows anything, even if it seems insignificant, please consider contacting the authorities. Joanne's family and friends deserve answers, and her case deserves justice.
