I’ve been following the Catonsville case, and I just can’t stop thinking about how crucial it is to address the mental health issues faced by seniors. So many times, these tragic incidents highlight problems that might have gone unnoticed within a family. It makes me wonder if there were any signs that Sally or Severn might have needed help or if they were isolated. The community seemed really impacted by what happened, which shows how important it is to look out for one another, especially as people age. My heart goes out to their family and friends who must be going through unimaginable pain. It serves as a heartbreaking reminder of how important it is for communities to support mental health initiatives.
