Has anyone else been following the situation with the snowmachiner on Gakona Glacier? I came across a post discussing how remote the area is and how challenging it must be for the search teams. I can’t imagine the difficulty of navigating those icy crevasses, especially when weather conditions can change so rapidly up there. Does anyone know if they’re using drones or any specialized equipment in the search efforts? It just seems like such a daunting task, and I really hope they have the resources they need to bring some answers to the family. Also wondering how often these kinds of accidents happen around that area. Would love to hear any updates or thoughts from folks with more local insight!
