I've been following Tijae Barnes' case and the more I read, the more my heart goes out to her family, especially those kids who witnessed the horror that night. It breaks my spirit to think that they have to live with those memories. I can't imagine how Tijae's loved ones are coping with such a senseless tragedy, especially during what should have been a festive season. What's been bugging me is the community's silence around this case. I get that people might be scared or don't want to get involved, but we need to come together to prevent this from happening again. Gun violence isn't just numbers on a page; it's real people, and in this case, it's Tijae. How do we prioritize getting people to speak up or engage more when something like this happens in their neighborhood? It's clear the community's voice is needed now more than ever. Hoping for justice for Tijae and peace for her family.
