Anyone else find it odd how the letters with threats were just left at the scene? It seems strange that someone would go through the trouble of orchestrating a murder but not bother to remove evidence that could tie them to motive. Makes me wonder if the killer wanted those letters to be found, as if they were sending a final message or throwing investigators off track. My heart goes out to the Long family, who not only lost someone dear but continue to face these unanswered questions. Maybe one day the right clue will come to light and bring them the justice they deserve.
Hey everyone, I came across the A.B. Long case while digging into unsolved murders, and I can't stop thinking about those letters with threats that were found in his apartment. It's chilling to think about what he must have gone through receiving those, knowing someone was out there threatening him and his family.
For the life of me, I can't understand why those threats didn't lead investigators to a clearer suspect or motive. It's been so long since his death, but I keep wondering if someone did this as a result of a business rivalry gone terribly wrong or if it was personal. Did he say anything to friends or colleagues about who might have been sending those threats?
It's tough because every time a case like this goes cold, it feels like justice slips further away for A.B. Long and his loved ones. I really hope that there's a breakthrough someday, no matter how unlikely it seems after all this time.
Did anyone else find it odd that A.B. Long had those threatening letters in his apartment? I can't help but wonder if there's more to them than we know. Maybe they were linked to his business, or perhaps they came from someone closer than we think? It just seems so strange that after all these years and with modern forensic techniques, we're still at square one. Long's family must be aching for answers, and I can only imagine the fear these threats brought them. Maybe someone out there has a piece of the puzzle and doesn’t realize it. I hope that by keeping this case alive, we can finally get answers for him and his loved ones.
