Wow, reading through this case, I can't stop thinking about the missing pickup truck. I mean, they left in that thing, and it's like it vanished into thin air. Always gets to me when a vehicle goes missing along with the people—seems like there has to be some kind of lead there, right? I wonder how hard the authorities looked for it, if there are records of that somewhere. Maybe it's just out there, scattered in pieces like the state said Smith did with it. Wouldn't it be something if finding parts of it could help with some DNA evidence or more clues? Anyway, just a thought I can't shake. Keeps me hopeful, y'know? Maybe one day it'll turn up and bring some more answers with it.
