I was just thinking about how unusual it is that both of Kay's dogs came back alone. Dogs are usually so loyal and protective, especially in situations where their owner might be in distress. Do you think there could be any clues from the dogs' behavior or where they were found? Maybe they could lead investigators to some new areas of interest? Has anyone heard if there was any follow-up with tracking the dogs' path or using scent detection later in the investigation? ? It's puzzling and feels like there might be more info hidden in their actions.

Wow, I was just reading about Kay’s case again, and something struck me. Has there ever been any discussion about whether the dogs could lead someone back to where they last saw her? I know it's been a long time since 1995, but considering both dogs returned home, maybe they could remember something? Seems like a long shot, but you never know with animals. I wonder if there was ever any search using the dogs' potential tracking ability or perhaps a forensic examination of their fur or paws back then. If anyone knows more on how this was handled, I'd love to hear it. It's just so puzzling knowing the dogs came back, but Kay didn’t. Thoughts?
