Anyone else notice how troubling it is that Tyrone Epps was on the run for so long before getting caught? I'm just thinking about Tyrone Manning’s family and how much anxiety they must have gone through knowing the suspect was still out there. It’s pretty alarming that someone with Epps's history was able to evade capture when there was already a warrant out for his arrest. I really hope this case brings about some serious discussions about law enforcement's ability to track and apprehend offenders more efficiently. I can't imagine the fear and frustration Manning's family must have felt during that time. It’s so crucial that communities and officials work together to ensure tragedies like this don’t keep happening.
