Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Danny Lee Murphy and his background as an English teacher. It's incredibly sad to think about how he spent his life dedicated to educating and inspiring others, only to have it cut short by such senseless violence. Imagine all the students he impacted throughout his career, who probably looked up to him as a mentor and friend. It’s heartbreaking to see someone who still had so much to give and share with the world leave us in such a tragic way. It's also touching to read about how Danny and Olson didn't hesitate to offer refuge and help to Snyder's wife. It truly shows the kind of person Danny was—compassionate and willing to stand up for those in need, even in the face of danger. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and former students who must be struggling with this untimely loss. I hope the community continues to rally around them for support during this difficult time. Would love to hear if anyone has more stories or memories of Danny; it would be nice to honor his life by remembering the positive impact he had on those around him. Stay safe, everyone.
