I can't stop thinking about the young boy who survived that horrific night. My heart goes out to him as he begins to heal not just physically, but emotionally too. Such a young age to experience such overwhelming tragedy. It's clear that the community is grieving for the Pickerals, but there's also this incredible resilience and desire to support him through this tough time. It’s a stark reminder of how deeply interconnected lives can be impacted by domestic violence. I hope there are services in place to offer him some comfort and that the community rallies around him with all the love they can give.
