I've been following the Curtis McKisset case recently, and something has been on my mind about the security in that neighborhood. I've heard that Middle River isn't exactly known for high crime rates, yet this tragic event unfolded right in a residential area. It makes me wonder about the safety measures, or lack thereof, in the neighborhood. Are there community initiatives in place to address these types of incidents? Given how quickly things escalated that day, it truly concerns me that someone could feel comfortable enough to commit such violent acts in what should be a safe environment. My heart goes out to Curtis's family and everyone who's been affected. It's unfathomable to think about the pain and fear they must be feeling in the community right now. Are locals organizing anything to honor Curtis or perhaps improve the area's security?
