Hi everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the terrifying incident that happened to Brandon Dixon near the basketball court in Glenarden, and my heart goes out to his family and friends during this unimaginably tough time. I keep wondering about that community center area. It's supposed to be a place where folks can safely gather, relax, and even shoot some hoops, but now it seems tainted by such a tragic event.
It's scary to think that something like this can happen so unexpectedly in a place that's supposed to be a safe haven. How is it affecting the people who live nearby and those who regularly visit the center? I'm sure the community must feel shaken. It's awful to see a cherished space become linked with such a loss.
I genuinely hope that the people who frequent the area are taking care of each other and finding ways to support Brandon’s loved ones. If anyone has insights about how the community is coping or any initiatives set up to help out, I'd love to hear more about it. We need to spotlight all the support and positivity we can, especially when it feels so dark.
