I'm just as troubled by Dannette Sheppard's case as many of you here. It's really haunting to think about how her neighbors heard gunshots a week before she was found, yet it all went unheard in a sense because of the constant noise in that area. It makes me wonder how many critical clues we all might miss because of what we consider "normal." Sheppard seemed to have been turning her life around, focusing on her kids and trying to create a better future for herself and her family. It's unbelievably painful to think her children have to face such a loss. How devastating must it be for them to know that their mom's killer is still out there, and they don’t have any answers? I hope anyone who might know something steps forward. Her family deserves closure, and after reading about her case, I've realized how much we owe it to each other to speak up when something seems off, no matter how "normal" it might seem. Stay safe, everyone.
