Has anyone else looked into the background of how PTSD might have played a role in this tragic case? It seems so complex and incredibly sad for both Wesley and Michelle. From what I've read, PTSD can really distort someone's behavior and decision-making. I'm in no way justifying violence, but I wonder if there were missed opportunities for intervention or support for Wesley. I've seen cases where therapy and support made a significant difference in managing PTSD, which makes me think—could things have turned out differently if he had access to more help? My heart goes out to both families affected, as it seems like there was a lot of suffering on all sides.

I’ve been following the Wesley Alan Gibson case, and one thing I can’t stop thinking about is the children. It’s such a terrible situation for any kid to be caught in the middle of such chaos. Being present during the incident must have been traumatizing for them. I hope they’re getting the support and counseling they need right now. Kids shouldn’t have to deal with the aftermath of such violence in their homes; they deserve to feel safe and loved. It’s so important for communities to rally around families like theirs to ensure the children can find some semblance of peace and normalcy amid the turmoil. Has there been any mention of support services stepping in to help them? Would love to hear if anyone has updates on this aspect of the case.
