I’ve been following Jerrod Crim's case, and what really stands out to me is the location where this happened. For those familiar with West Baltimore, you know the area around Vine Street and North Smallwood Street can be active, with plenty of people around, especially in the afternoon when this tragic event occurred. It’s difficult to believe that nobody saw or heard something unusual that day. I can't help but wonder if there are witnesses who might be hesitant to come forward due to fear or distrust. We've seen it in so many cases where people hold onto vital information for those reasons. Jerrod’s family deserves justice, and those who knew and loved him are undoubtedly grappling with immense grief. It’s a reminder for all of us to keep supporting communities plagued by violence and to push for better safety measures.
