Did anyone else find it incredibly tragic that Davon Evans was killed during a Ceasefire Weekend? The whole point of those weekends is to promote peace and take a stand against the violence that keeps taking our loved ones away. It feels like Davon’s murder was such a direct defiance of the community’s hopes and efforts to make Baltimore safer for everyone. My heart goes out to his family and friends who must be feeling such a heavy loss. I can imagine the community’s frustration and sorrow too. Can anyone share any updates on the investigation or if there have been any new leads? It’s unbelievable that someone’s life can be taken so violently and that the case can just stay unsolved. Let's keep discussing and supporting each other until we see the justice Davon deserves.

I've been following Davon Evans' case and something I found particularly striking is that it occurred during a Ceasefire Weekend.
