I've been following Clifton Jones's case for a while now, and one aspect that puzzles me is how little media coverage it seems to have gotten over the years. I get that it happened in 2001, but even back then, you’d expect more local news chatter—especially since he’s still missing. I wonder if lower media attention back then contributed to fewer tips and leads. It's disheartening that cases like this can fade from public consciousness just because they don't receive enough publicity early on. Does anyone know if there were any missing persons posters or local campaigns for Clifton around Memphis at the time? Maybe revisiting those efforts with the tech we have today could spark new interest or jog someone's memory.

Hey everyone, I was just thinking about the cold case of Clifton Jones. It's been over 20 years, and there's still so little to go on. Does anyone know if they've ever looked into any connections he might have had in the Memphis area that just didn’t seem obvious at first? Sometimes people have hidden networks or acquaintances that don’t come out in the initial investigation. I guess they’re reviewing everything with new forensic techniques, but I wonder if there are witnesses from back then who might now feel comfortable coming forward with more details. Anyone else following this case closely and have any thoughts about people he knew or places he frequented?

Has anyone else been following the Clifton Jones case from Memphis? I was just looking through some old cases, and this one caught my interest because of the lack of new information since his disappearance in 2001. Given that the Memphis PD's Cold Case Unit is still actively working on it, I wonder if technological advancements might finally give this case a breakthrough. It's been over two decades, and you’d think there might have been some accidental breakthroughs or something by now. Sometimes community involvement seems to lead to these small but crucial breakthroughs, so maybe spreading awareness could help? Thoughts on what more could be done to shake loose some new leads?
