Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this has had on the local community in Sharpsburg? It’s gut-wrenching to think about how Tina Johnson's colleagues at the Lorien Assisted Living Facility are dealing with this tragedy. She seemed like such a compassionate person, dedicated to caring for others, which must have left a huge void at her workplace. Those who were close to her are undoubtedly struggling to come to terms with this devastating loss. Communities often rally together in the wake of such tragedies, and I wonder how the neighborhood is coping with this. It's particularly difficult when the perpetrator is someone who was also a trusted member of the community, but it's important that we remain supportive to everyone affected by these awful events. My thoughts are with Tina’s family and friends; I hope they are finding some comfort in each other during this incredibly painful time.
