Hey everyone, I’ve been following the heartbreaking case of Tyrek D. Harvin for a while now, and my thoughts are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. I wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind regarding this case - the location of the crime.
Tyrek was killed at his home on Maisel Court, an area that isn’t usually brought up in discussions about the more violent parts of the city. This makes me wonder if his murder was a random act or something more targeted. I’ve lived in Baltimore my whole life, and while there's no denying our city faces its challenges with crime, it’s unusual for this type of incident to happen in that particular neighborhood.
