Has anyone else looked into the ongoing legal battles when it comes to gun violence cases in Baltimore? I was reading about the tragic incident involving Desron Barber, who was charged with first-degree murder for the shooting of Biancha Johnson. It's awful to think about what her family must be going through. I'm wondering how effective the legal system is at deterring such events and what kind of support is available to victims’ families during these trials. Does anyone know if there are specific programs in Baltimore aimed at addressing the root causes of this violence? It feels like there's so much more that needs to be done to prevent these senseless tragedies.
