Has anyone else heard about the vigil the community held for Justin Onuoha? I attended and was moved by the love and support shared by everyone who knew him. It's evident that Justin touched so many lives. The stories I heard from friends and family painted a picture of a compassionate man passionate about agriculture and resource science. It’s devastating to think that someone so dedicated to improving his community could be taken from us in such a violent way. I hope that by coming together, we can encourage someone with information to speak up. If Justin was your friend or classmate at the University of Maryland, please share any memories you have. Let's keep his story alive and continue to seek justice for him.

It's always difficult to process when such a bright life is cut short in such a violent way. Justin Onuoha was clearly someone who had so much potential and passion for his field—Agriculture and Resource Science isn't just a career, it's a calling. I read somewhere that he was really focused on sustainable practices, and just knowing that makes this loss even more poignant. Baltimore has already lost too many brilliant minds to senseless violence. It's frustrating and deeply saddening that despite the reward and efforts, justice hasn't been served yet. I can't imagine the frustration and pain Justin's family and friends are going through each day without answers. If anyone out there knows something, no matter how small, please step forward. Let's not let Justin's death become just another statistic. He deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
