I grew up in Baltimore and seeing this happen so often in a city I love is hard to take. I had a chance to talk to someone who knew Justin, and they spoke about his passion for music and how much he loved playing guitar. It’s tragic that his talent and light were lost so abruptly. Can anyone share any updates or insights into what might be happening with the investigation? I feel so deeply for his family and friends, hoping that they find some comfort and that justice will eventually be served. If anyone knows anything about community initiatives or groups working on reducing gun violence in Baltimore, I'd love to hear more about them. I've been thinking a lot about the impact of gun violence in our communities and how it affects families long after the news cycle has moved on. The story of Justin Fauntleroy, a 33-year-old murdered in December 2020 in Baltimore, really highlights this ongoing struggle.
