Hey all,
I've been following James Ellerbe's case ever since news broke about his murder. One thing that's been on my mind is the role that the Shot Spotter technology played here. It's a valuable tool that alerted the police to the shots being fired, but it makes me wonder—how effective is it really if we still have so many unsolved cases like James’?
I can’t imagine the pain his family must be going through, knowing his killer is still out there. I'm really hoping that the continued use of this technology, combined with community support, might help bring some answers to this senseless tragedy. If anyone has insights on how this tech is being utilized in other cases or has any ideas on how we can improve these systems to prevent further loss, I’d really love to hear your thoughts.
Stay safe, everyone. Let's keep James and his loved ones in our thoughts as we discuss ways to make our communities safer.

Has anyone else noticed the lack of leads in the James Ellerbe case? It's been almost three years, and we're still in the dark. It's so frustrating, especially when you hear about his family pleading for justice. I can’t even imagine the pain they're going through, not knowing why this happened or who’s responsible. The 3000 block of East Madison Street is a busy area, right? You’d think someone might have seen or heard something that could help. I'm really hoping someone will finally come forward, even with just a small detail. Every bit could be crucial. Is there any way we can get more eyes on this case? It's devastating to think of how many families in Baltimore are waiting for answers. Thoughts are with James’s loved ones during this painful time.
I’ve been following James Ellerbe’s case for a while and it’s really tough to see that there hasn’t been much progress. You can just imagine the agony his family is experiencing, not knowing who’s responsible for such a tragic loss. Living in Baltimore, I’m aware of the violence that seems to affect so many lives, but each victim is someone’s loved one, and it feels incredibly unfair that we don't have more answers. Has anyone heard of any recent community efforts or tips that might be helping the investigation? Sometimes it’s the smallest detail that could tip the scales in these cases. My thoughts and sympathies are with his family.
