Hey everyone, I've been following the Deandre Davis case, and one thing that really stands out to me is the struggle the community faces with the persistent gun violence in Baltimore. It's such a tragedy that Deandre's life was cut short in this way, and it makes me think about the bigger picture here.
It seems like there’s this cycle of violence that just keeps going, and it’s hard to see how it can be broken. How can we support the neighborhoods impacted by these tragedies? I read somewhere that community outreach programs can be effective, but they need more support and resources. It feels like the voices of people who live in these areas need to be louder and heard more by those in positions to effect real change.
What do you all think can be done at a community level to help prevent these kinds of tragedies from happening again? I'm hoping there’s some way to rally together and make a difference. Thoughts and empathy to Deandre’s family and everyone affected. Please, let's keep this discussion constructive.
