Delante Laboo's murder is another tragic story in Baltimore's ongoing struggle with violence. I’ve been following this case closely since it happened, and it's unsettling that there still seems to be no progress. It’s important for us to remember that behind the statistics, there is a family mourning a loss that can never be replaced. I keep thinking about the double shooting incident that claimed his life. Was he just in the wrong place at the wrong time, or is there more to this story that we’re not seeing? I wish the police could provide more updates, but I also understand they have to be careful with what info they release. Hoping someone might come forward with information that leads to a break in the case. Amidst all this uncertainty, I feel deeply for Delante’s loved ones. They deserve answers and closure. Baltimore, like so many cities, needs effective ways to support families through these tragedies and, ultimately, to prevent such losses from happening.
