Something that stands out to me about Hipolito Angon's case is the delay between his last sighting and when he was reported missing. I get that sometimes people lose touch or assume someone will turn up, but given that his behavior was described as uncharacteristic, it's puzzling. Why didn't the roommate or family push to report it sooner? Maybe they thought he went on an impromptu trip to see family in Mexico, as some people have suggested in similar cases. It's just frustrating that after all these years, there doesn't seem to be any progress. Anyone have thoughts on why some disappearances aren't reported right away, especially if it's out of character?
Does anyone have any thoughts on why there was such a delay in reporting Hipolito Angon missing? I find it strange that the nephew waited until August 3rd, even though his roommate hadn't seen him since July 15th. I get that people might assume someone's gone off on their own, but nearly three weeks is a long time, especially for someone who isn't known for disappearing like that. I'm wondering if this might have affected the investigation at all or if crucial evidence might have been lost in those weeks. Would love to hear insights or similar stories where delays were a factor in missing persons cases.
