I've been following Santiago "Tiger" Loyal's case closely, and my thoughts go out to his family and friends dealing with this immense loss. What's been on my mind a lot lately is the role of surveillance in solving these tragic cases. It seems like the footage played a crucial part in identifying Shawn Brewton as the suspect. It's heartbreaking to think that without this technology, the case might not have had such swift progress. In a city like Baltimore, where community trust is crucial, I'm curious about how citizens feel about the constant presence of surveillance. I mean, it's a double-edged sword, right? On one hand, it's vital for bringing justice in cases like Santiago's, but on the other, it brings up privacy concerns. Has anyone else here lived in areas with a lot of surveillance, and how do you feel it's impacted the community? Do you think the benefits outweigh the negatives? I’d love to hear thoughts, especially from anyone local to East Baltimore.

Hey everyone, I've been following Santiago "Tiger" Loyal's case and can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on his loved ones and the community. It’s such a tough topic, but I wanted to bring up the point about the location where Loyal was found. The 1200 block of Cliftview Avenue is no stranger to crime, but it really hits home when you think about how many lives are affected each time something like this happens. It’s scary to think that a place can become synonymous with violence. Loyal being found in front of a vacant home just feels like another reminder of the neglect in some neighborhoods, which only seems to breed more crime. I can’t help but wonder if there's more to be done for community outreach here, maybe developing programs or finding ways to reclaim these spaces for positive uses. Just thinking out loud... would love to know what others think could change, or if they’ve seen successes in their own communities that might apply here. My heart goes out to Santiago's family for their enormous loss. Really hope they're finding support from one another and the wider community right now. They deserve to see justice served, and it’s a step towards healing seeing the efforts to bring Brewton to justice.
