I was reading through some old threads the other day and came across Shirlene Gray's case again. What got me thinking this time was the location where she disappeared. Dallas is a big city with a lot of movement, but surely someone must have seen something on New Year's Day, one of the busiest times of the year. With all the people out and about, could her disappearance have something to do with the holiday? Maybe folks traveled into town for New Year's events, or there was a mix of locals and visitors who might’ve noticed something unusual. I wonder if the police ever conducted door-to-door interviews or looked into surveillance footage from nearby businesses or traffic cams around that time. Anyone with local knowledge remember anything or any rumors around that period? Let's keep her case in mind—there’s gotta be someone out there who remembers seeing something.

I was digging through some old files on the NamUs site and came across Shirlene Gray’s case again. It’s been 16 years, and it just baffles me how someone can completely disappear without a trace. I’m particularly curious about the timeframe surrounding New Year’s Day 2007. It seems like such a public time with everyone out celebrating, but maybe that's why it slipped under the radar? I know it's a long shot, but has anyone looked into events or venues in Dallas during that time that she might've been at? It's always puzzled me why nothing significant has come up considering how bustling the city is. Thoughts?
