I came across this case recently and can't stop thinking about the impact on the Howard Park community. It's just dreadful how violence like this can ripple through a neighborhood and leave everyone on edge. I heard that after the shooting, the community gathered with Mayor Brandon Scott and Police Commissioner Michael Harrison to voice their concerns. It must have been a tough meeting, but honestly, I admire the community for standing up and demanding change. It speaks volumes about their resilience, even in such a challenging time.
What I find particularly interesting is how the neighborhood is pushing for more police accountability and presence. It’s clear they’re trying to find a balance between safety and trust. Has anyone here been part of similar community meetings? What can actually be done to ensure these promises lead to real action? My heart goes out to the families of Darian Savoy, Jawan Hall, and Timothy Brown Jr., and the entire Howard Park community. They deserve justice, and I sincerely hope we see some progress soon.
This case has really been on my mind a lot lately. I can't stop thinking about the families, especially Darian Savoy’s loved ones. Imagine getting that terrible phone call... I try to put myself in their shoes and it just doesn’t seem real. The pain they must be going through is unimaginable. I've read that the community is rallying for more police presence, but what about long-term support for the families affected? Grief counseling, financial support, anything to help them try to find a way forward after such a devastating loss. It feels like these resources are often overlooked in the aftermath of such events. I hope Baltimore steps up and provides the families with the care and support they need. These families deserve justice, but also compassion and healing. If anyone knows of any way to support them, please share. Let's keep their memory alive and work towards a safer community.
