I've been thinking about the lingering effects that witnessing such a violent crime must have on the people who stumbled upon James that night. Being the ones to find him must be haunting beyond words. I cannot even begin to imagine the trauma and shock they experienced. While James's family undoubtedly bears the heaviest burden, these bystanders are often overlooked in the aftermath of such tragedies. I hope they have access to the support and counseling they need to cope with such a distressing experience. It's a reminder of how wide the ripple effects of violence extend, touching so many lives in unexpected ways. Keeping them, as well as James's family, in my thoughts and hoping for some peace and answers soon.

I've been following James Neal's case, and I keep thinking about the kind of person he was. It's so evident that he was incredibly loved by everyone who knew him. I stumbled upon an old video of him singing, and it really hit me how much joy he must have brought to those around him with that beautiful voice of his. You can tell he must have been a light in so many lives.
With that said, I can't help but wonder about the impact of this tragedy on his siblings. Being the eldest, he probably played a significant role in their lives, like a second parent sometimes.
