I can't stop thinking about the role the community played in this case. It really speaks volumes about how close-knit the Dundalk neighborhood is. With Pedro Rollins losing his life so tragically, the fact that witnesses were quick to try and get him to the hospital shows a lot of heart and urgency. It's deeply saddening that their efforts weren’t enough to save him, but it’s clear they did everything they could in the moment. We've often heard stories where people are too afraid to come forward, but in this instance, the community didn’t back down. Their willingness to provide information so quickly really helped the police take immediate action. I hope this serves as an inspiration for other communities dealing with similar tragedies. My thoughts are with Pedro's family and friends during this difficult time, and I hope they find some comfort knowing there are people who cared deeply and acted bravely after the incident.
