I've been following the case of Kwalin Ray, the young man who was senselessly taken from his family far too soon, and something that's been really bothering me is the response from the community. I get how delicate and risky it can be to come forward with information, especially in places where acts of retaliation are a very real threat, but I'm hoping the promise of an $8,000 reward might encourage someone who knows something to speak up. Ray deserves justice, and his family deserves answers. It's so important for everyone in these neighborhoods to band together and become allies in the fight against violence. If someone out there has the courage to step forward, I truly believe it could make all the difference. Thoughts and prayers for the Ray family. Let's hope they find some peace and answers soon.
