Has anyone else looked into the timeline of events leading up to Maria's disappearance? It just seems odd to me that she was able to communicate with her husband but was too scared to share more details. I wonder if the male companion she was with knew she was in contact with him. The fact that her phone was traced to California raises so many questions. Did they travel there together, or was it just her phone that ended up in California? I keep thinking about whether there were any reports of sightings or suspicious activity along the route from Tennessee to California around that time. Also, if she expressed fear, why wasn't more done by authorities when she first went missing? I really wish there were more details about the male companion and how he fits into this story. Hoping someone out there has new information that could finally give her family some peace.
