It's truly devastating to hear about Kennard Wilds and Robert Carter losing their lives in such a senseless act of violence. I can't help but feel for their families and friends who are left picking up the pieces. It's also quite alarming to learn that the gas station on Garrison Boulevard has a history of violence. I wonder if more could have been done to prevent this tragedy by addressing the problems at that location sooner. While it's a relief to know that the suspect has been apprehended, it doesn't bring Kennard and Robert back. It makes me think about how many more sites in the city might be potential hotspots for similar incidents. Have there been any community meetings or interventions to address such locations? It seems like a proactive approach might be crucial in preventing future tragedies. Sending my deepest condolences to everyone affected by this. Does anyone know if the community is organizing any memorials or initiatives in their honor?
