Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about Christopher Colbert’s case from 2013 and wanted to bring up a point that I don’t see getting much attention. This community remains hopeful, and so am I, that justice will eventually be served. I’ve been wondering if there were any local community events or situations that might have occurred around West Oak Street prior to or right after July 29 that could have led to some tensions. Sometimes these little details can spark a memory for someone or bring forward new perspectives. Also, if there are folks here who have lived in that area during 2013, any insights or observations about how the community dynamics might have played into this tragedy would be invaluable. The toll on the families, like Christopher’s, is unimaginable. They deserve peace and answers. Let’s keep discussing and sharing. Maybe together, we can help piece together part of this puzzle. Thank you, everyone, and let’s continue to be supportive of one another.
