Hey everyone, I've been reading through the discussions about the tragic events in Magnolia on January 1, 1897, and I couldn't help but think about the police officers involved in the confrontation with the assailant. It must have been incredibly intense for them to respond so swiftly, stopping the rampage and preventing more casualties. I can't imagine the pressure and stress they were under that day. While their actions prevented further loss, it's such a heavy burden to carry, especially knowing that Grant Davis and others still lost their lives. The community must have been in shock, trying to process everything that happened. It's just so tough all around. What do you guys think about the law enforcement's response and the aftermath for them as individuals? How do you think they coped with the aftermath of such a grave situation, especially when mental health support was not as recognized or available back in those days? My heart goes out to Grant's family, the other victims' families, and everyone impacted by this tragedy. Would love to hear your thoughts. Stay safe, everyone.
