I was reading up on Jack Williams' case again, and something struck me as odd about the timeline. His friends reported him missing on March 9, 2012, which is almost three months after he was last seen in December 2011. I'm curious if there was any specific reason for the delay. Did his friends assume he was off-grid or on a trip? Given the relatively small community of Port Orchard, it's surprising there wasn't more alarm sooner. Maybe someone local has more context on his usual habits or lifestyle back then? Any insights might help to piece together this puzzling gap in the timeline. Let's keep discussing and see if we can shed some light on this cold case.
Has anyone else been following the case of Jack Williams from Port Orchard? What really baffles me is the timeline of his disappearance. How could it be that no one reported him missing until March when he was last seen in mid-December? That’s nearly three months! It makes me wonder about the communication between his friends and family during that time. Maybe there's something in the gaps we’re not seeing. I've read that sometimes these delays can happen if someone is known to move around or keep a low profile, but it still strikes me as really strange. Anyone else have thoughts on why it took so long for him to be reported missing? ??️‍♀️

He was an addict. It wasn't unusual for people to vanish and then reappear after some time.

While that may be true he has been missing for 15 years now. You would think he would pop up at some point. Addiction is a solution. A poor solution but a solution. Usually due to mental illness or trying to escape. I hope he is found.

Has anyone else noticed how long it took for Jack Williams to be reported missing? From mid-December to March seems like a long gap, especially since his friends and family apparently hadn't heard from him during that time. I wonder if there were any particular reasons why nobody raised the alarm sooner? Maybe it's possible that he had a habit of disappearing, or perhaps there were assumptions about where he might have gone? It's odd, and I can't help but feel like there's a lot more under the surface regarding the timeline of events. Does anyone have thoughts or insights into why it might have taken so long for someone to reach out to authorities?
