It's been over eight years since the tragic loss of Brandon Washington, and I can't help but think about how his family and friends must still be grappling with his absence. What really stands out to me is the bond situation with Tequan Perry. How was he allowed to be out on bond so many times, given his record? It feels so unjust that the system failed to prevent this. I wonder if there have been any changes in the judicial process in Charleston since Brandon's murder to better address repeat offenders. My heart is with Brandon's loved ones, and I hope they find some peace and justice in this ongoing struggle. If anyone has any updates on reforms or any personal experiences dealing with the system in similar cases, I'd be interested to hear them. Stay strong, everyone.
