I've always found the case of Thanh Ha so puzzling, especially with the kind of equipment they had on that fishing trip. I mean, a 25-foot Reno Skiff with a Yamaha engine sounds pretty solid for a day out in Venice's waters, right? It's as if they just vanished into thin air. It's unsettling how even the boat with the registration number LA5756CA didn't leave any trace. I've read about cases where boats or debris are eventually found, or at least some sort of clue turns up. But here, it's just silence. Have any of you heard about similar cases where both people and vessels absolutely disappeared without a trace? I wonder if currents in that area can be that unpredictable or if there's more to this that we’re missing.
Has anyone else noticed how there seems to be an absence of any debris or wreckage from Thanh Ha and Anthony Nguyen's boat? It's so strange because even in most lost-at-sea cases, there is usually some piece of the boat that turns up eventually. I remember reading about other boats with similar situations where something like a floating seat cushion or a piece of the hull would wash ashore months later. For their boat, a 25-foot Reno Skiff, to vanish without a trace despite the wide-scale searches led by the authorities is just puzzling. Could the currents in that part of the Gulf have carried the boat further away than expected, or is there a possibility that it sank quickly without leaving debris? It's all just so mysterious, and I keep wondering if there's something investigators might have missed. Any thoughts on how a boat and its occupants could just disappear like that?
