I've been following the tragic case of Violet Taylor and her family ever since it was first reported, and something about the Vilardis' actions after the murders has always bothered me. They remodeled the home and lived there for two years after the incident. It seems so unusual, especially considering the violent nature of the crime. Could it have been a way for them to cover their tracks, or was it an attempt to distance themselves emotionally from what happened? It's even more unsettling to think they lived on the same property as Amy's parents, Cathy and Michael. Surely, the emotional toll must have been huge. My heart goes out to the relatives and friends of these victims who had to endure such a long wait for answers. I hope the upcoming trial provides the closure they desperately need.
