I’ve been following the Linda Leslie and Julian Ramirez case since it happened, and the recent news about Donnie Ashby's indictment caught my eye. It's such a relief to see some movement in a case that seemed to be stagnant for so long. I can’t even begin to imagine the lingering pain Linda and Julian’s families must have felt over the years without any answers. This case really sheds light on the importance of cold case units; without their persistent efforts, it’s scary to think justice might never have been served. It’s a testament to the dedicated officers who never gave up, and I sincerely hope this brings some measure of peace to the loved ones of Linda and Julian. Has anyone else been following the developments closely? Thoughts on the role technology could have played in cracking this open after so many years?

Has anyone else been following the recent developments in the Linda Leslie and Julian Ramirez case? I can't stop thinking about how difficult it must have been for their families to wait all those years for answers. The fact that the case went cold for so long, only to be reopened, really goes to show the importance of never giving up hope for justice. I can't imagine the relief but also the pain that must have come with the indictment. How often do we see something like this finally move forward after such a long period? I hope this brings some closure to their loved ones. It's a stark reminder of how valuable cold case units are in bringing long-overdue justice to victims and their families.
