I keep thinking about how Jamell had just returned from work and was confronted right there in what should be a safe space. It’s so unsettling to imagine that someone could face such danger right at their doorstep. Jamell's dedication to his landscaping business and his music was truly inspiring. It seemed like he had so much potential ahead of him, and it's beyond sad that all his plans and dreams were cut short. It’s particularly haunting to consider that it happened so close to his birthday. I hope the authorities can bring the second suspect to justice soon. Jamell and his family deserve that closure. It's also important for the community to come together to support each other during this time and keep Jamell’s memory alive by celebrating the positive impact he had.

I came across something that breaks my heart about Jamell George's case. Can you imagine having to experience such a tragedy right before his birthday? It just feels so cruel, and I really feel for his family and friends who have to deal with this reality every year. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they endure.
I've been thinking about the role music played in his life. Jamell's passion for gospel rap really stuck with me.
