Has anyone else been struck by the role the community played in supporting Kadeem Johnson's family after this tragedy? I've been following the case of Kadeem Johnson closely since it happened, and something that I've been thinking about a lot lately is the role the U.S. Marshals had in capturing Sherrod Deon Palmer in Virginia. It's impressive how inter-agency cooperation can bring about quick results, especially in such a chaotic aftermath of a crime like this one. I can't imagine the anxiety and fear Kadeem's family must have felt knowing one suspect was still at large, and it surely brought some relief knowing he was apprehended. It's clear that the justice system moved quickly to address this case. I hope it continues to progress in a way that respects Kadeem and the immense loss his loved ones endure every day. My heart goes out to them, and I admire the strength shown by the Huger community in standing together during such a difficult time.
