I’ve been following Joseph Gonzales’s case for a while now, and something keeps coming up in my mind about the Villatown area he used to frequent. I’ve read a couple of old threads and it seems like Villatown wasn’t the safest neighborhood back in 2014. Does anyone know more about the crime rate or any specific incidents that may have occurred around the time Joseph disappeared? Maybe there’s a connection that hasn’t been explored yet. Asking those who might have lived nearby or have insights—could something local have contributed to him going missing? Every small detail could help.

Has anyone else looked into the significance of Joseph Gonzales being seen frequently in the Villatown area before he disappeared? I’ve been trying to piece together why he might have spent so much time there, especially since it's mostly residential with some convenience stores. Could it be he knew someone there or had some sort of connection we haven't uncovered yet? It's baffling that despite being such a public place, no one seems to have come forward with sightings or any helpful details. I'm curious if there's any local lore or small community ties we might be missing out on that could help us generate new leads? Any longtime Lubbock residents who might know what was going on in Villatown around that time?
