I've been following the case of Terrance Jones with a heavy heart. It’s just so difficult to grasp how a deal with someone supposedly known to him could end in such a tragic way. It really makes you wonder how well you can actually know someone. The fact that this happened in our own community is unsettling, to say the least. I think it's important to also remember the small things about Terrance, and not just focus on how he died. I heard from a friend who attended his funeral at Bethel #3 Pentecostal Holiness Church that the attendance was overwhelming, a true testament to the impact he had on those around him. People shared stories of his kindness and sense of humor, reminding us that he was much more than just the headlines he became. My heart goes out to Latisha and the rest of Terrance’s family. It must be incredibly difficult to navigate life without him, especially when the justice process takes so long. No one should have to endure that kind of pain. Hoping for some peace and closure for the family now that the case seems to be moving forward finally.
