I’ve been following the case surrounding Makenzie Williamson’s death and can't help but think about the living conditions at Pace’s Run Apartments. It’s astonishing to learn that since September 2015, there have been multiple shootings, aggravated assaults, and murders. How do residents cope with this ongoing threat? It's terrifying that a place meant to be a sanctuary can become so dangerous. My heart goes out to the family and everyone living there, constantly on edge. Do you think there are enough grounds to hold the apartment management legally responsible for not prioritizing security measures, given their ongoing history with crime? It seems like addressing these issues sooner could’ve potentially saved a life. I hope this case not only brings justice to Makenzie but also ensures a safer environment for others. Any thoughts on what more could be done to prevent these tragedies?
