I’ve been following the tragic case of Judith Hilley Calvert and her daughter, Theresa, and my heart goes out to their family. What strikes me most about this situation is the community response. People have really come together to support each other, and I've seen lots of discussions around how we can better address issues related to domestic violence and substance abuse in our neighborhood. I think it's crucial that these conversations continue and that we don't let this tragedy fade from memory. It’s important for us to find ways to support families who might be struggling with similar issues before they escalate into something as terrible as this.
