Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Cherrelle R. Evans after her tragic passing in 2018, and something about the community response really sticks with me. It’s so moving to see how neighbors and local residents came together to support Cherrelle’s family and advocate for better security measures at the Waverly Place Apartments. It’s heartbreaking that it took such a horrific event to spark these conversations, but the unity and determination to make things safer really stand out. I saw a few posts about local initiatives—does anyone have updates on what's being done? I really hope some real change comes out of this tragedy for the sake of Cherrelle's memory and the safety of everyone living there.
