I recently came across the case of Roderick Warren Blue-Johnson, and it's just so gut-wrenching to think about how such a promising young life was taken away so suddenly. I've been trying to piece together the details of that tragic day in Louisville, and it struck me how it all happened in a lively neighborhood. Did anyone who lived near 213 South 38th Street happen to hear or see anything unusual around the time of the murder? Sometimes it's those small details that can really make a difference.
It’s been almost six years, and I can only imagine the heartache Roderick's mothers, Joyce and Jennifer, as well as his dad, Roderick, must feel every day not knowing what truly happened. My heart really goes out to them. Community is often the glue in these tough times, and it sounds like Roderick was a cherished part of it at Portland Memorial Baptist. Has there been any community outreach or events aimed at reviving interest in the case? Keeping his memory alive might just help jog someone's memory.
